Florida Residents! Tax Relief for Hurricane Milton Tax Deadline Extended Until May 1st, 2025!
The IRS is offering tax relief to those affected by Hurricane Milton. If you live or have a business in one of the 51 impacted counties in Florida (check IRS.gov for the full list!), you now have more time to file your taxes.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Extended Deadline: File your 2024 tax return and make payments originally due between Oct. 5, 2024, and May 1, 2025 by May 1, 2025.
- This includes: 2024 tax returns, extensions for 2023 returns (payments not included), quarterly estimated tax payments, and more!
- Many Businesses Qualify: Get penalty relief for late payroll and excise tax deposits (check IRS.gov for specific counties).
