The Camp Lake Commerce Center, an ambitious industrial park planned for The Hills of Minneola, is one step closer to reality. Minneola’s Planning and Zoning Commission recently approved the site plan for the first phase of the project, which includes two warehouses totaling over 378,000 square feet.
Developed by Skorman Development and Strategic Real Estate Partners, the Camp Lake Commerce Center will span 170 acres within the master-planned Hills of Minneola community. This thriving community, located along Florida’s Turnpike, encompasses 1,883 acres and features a diverse mix of residential options, including apartments, single-family homes, and an active adult community.
The Hills of Minneola is also set to become a regional hub, with plans for a future AdventHealth hospital, medical offices, retail, dining, and now, the significant addition of the Camp Lake Commerce Center.
Construction on the first phase of the industrial park is expected to commence in May 2025, and developers anticipate strong interest from businesses seeking to expand or establish a presence in the Orlando market.
This development underscores the growing importance of Minneola as a key area for both residential and commercial growth in Central Florida.
