Pulte Homes is poised to significantly expand its presence in the rapidly growing Horizon West area with a new 311-unit townhome development. This project, spanning 51.4 acres at 13745 Avalon Road, will feature 20′ x 100′ lots thoughtfully arranged around a central stormwater pond and a 1.32-acre park.
In addition to this exciting new venture, Pulte is nearing completion of Silverleaf Oaks, another Horizon West community. Located along Avalon Road near S.R. 429, Silverleaf Oaks will encompass 449 homes, including 160 townhomes and 289 single-family residences. The first phase of Silverleaf Oaks is on track to deliver its initial units in early 2025, with construction on the subsequent phase commencing around the same time.
Pulte’s new townhome project will be integrated into Village I within Horizon West, joining a diverse range of developments. Del Webb Oasis, a 55+ community by Pulte, and the collaborative effort between Taylor Morrison and Rockwell Homes to build 424 homes in Harvest at Ovation, are just a few examples of the vibrant community taking shape. Toll Brothers is also actively constructing Westhaven at Ovation, a 368-home single-family community.
The broader Horizon West area is experiencing substantial growth, with recent additions like the multifamily communities OVERLOOK at Lake Britt and Haven at Lake Britt, as well as the single-family Highland Ridge community by Meritage Homes. Future plans for the area include a 200-room hotel and retail development by NGI Investments, and the ongoing development of Flamingo Crossings, a mixed-use project encompassing affordable housing, a town center, and student housing.
