Florida’s back-to-school sales tax holiday is July 24-Aug. 6. Save up to $100 on clothing, $50 on school supplies, and $30 on learning aids.
This is your chance to stock up on all the essentials for the new school year without having to pay sales tax. So get your lists together and start shopping!
Here are some of the items that are exempt from sales tax during the holiday:
- Clothing, footwear, and certain accessories with a sales price of $100 or less per item
- Certain school supplies with a sales price of $50 or less per item
- Learning aids and jigsaw puzzles with a sales price of $30 or less per item
- Personal computers and certain computer-related accessories with a sales price of $1,500 or less

• Compare prices online. You can often find better deals on school supplies online.
